Joan of Arc

Are you alone now, has everyone abandoned you?
Protect yourself with a wall so high.
You can’t see me over the concrete
And assume I’m out to get you,
But I’m not, you can’t assume I am like you.

You’ve been walking over me since day one,
I pulled the rug beneath your feet,
I see, now you think you’re Joan of Arc,
And I am burning, burning you.
But I’m not you can’t assume I am like you, I’m not,
You can’t assume I am like you.

So write a scathing message on the wall,
So all who read it recognize my fault,
I’ve stopped groveling I can’t be sorry anymore,
Shit happens, you hate me so deal with it, deal with it,
Cause I’m not, you can’t assume I am like you, I’m not,
You can’t assume I am like you.
