I'm playing a few gigs with The Creaking Planks next month, including a Variety Show Spectacular at the Waterfront Theatre on Friday the 13th(!). We'll be sharing the stage with so many great acts that you will feel compelled to check out the full event listing. We're at the Railway Club the following Thursday (February 19th) for the release of Memewar Issue #8, which is always a good excuse to throw a party.
In other news, I'm gearing up for my annual solo gig in the spring, details to come. I've also added a few recent-ish pieces to the art page.

Hey, I'm playing a show on June 7th at Little Mountain Studios! Here's the scoop:
The Creaking Planks, East Van's notorious "jug band of the damned", is joined for one night by two of their favorite homonyms for a summer celebration of musical possibilities.
Ehren Salazar, an accomplished visual artist with a strong background in improv comedy, pulls things out of his hat and wears them well! Armed only with a guitar and a slippery, Protean wit, he will have the crowd singing along to eternal anthems whose choruses he had never dreamed prior to ringing out the song's first chord.
Graphic designer by day and miner of melody by night, Eryn Holbrook is gradually following up years at the helm of Vancouver's incomparable Perpetual Dream Theory with more intimate settings of her spare and honest compositions. This performance represents a rare opportunity to touch base with new developments in her songwriting sensibilities.

Finally, my first solo show is a done deal. You can catch me on Thursday, June 7 at The Annex in gastown (307 W. Cordova) as part of the Music Waste festival. I'll be on first at 9pm, followed by the fabulous Adri and the always-entertaining Creaking Planks.
